The market & factories of the Arabian coffee pot in Ha’il city at Ha’il Province are considered one of a kind in Saudi Arabia and many consider this market one of the unique locations for selling & manufacturing the Arabian coffee pot in the best quality.

أبوبندر يمتلك محلاً متواضعاً لبيع الدلال والمهباش (يسمى كذلك المدق والهاون) وغيرها، يقول أبوبندر أنه لم يعيش في حائل طيلة حياته بَل عمل سائق للمعدات الثقيلة في محافظة الأحساء لأكثر من ١٠ سنوات مع الشركة الألمانية التي كانت مسؤولة عن مشروع الري والصرف في بداية السبعينات.

Abu bander owns a small shop there for selling these Arabian coffee pot, Abu bander says that he didn’t like his whole life in Ha’il instead he was working as heavy machinery driver in AlHasa District for more then 10 years with the Germany company which was responsible for the Irrigation & Drainage project in the early 1970s.

عاد حائل وبقي يعمل في مجال قيادة المعدات الثقيلة في المدينة وضواحيها حتى قبل ١٠ سنوات وبسبب كبر سنه قرر التوقف عن تلك المهنة وفتح محل لبيع الدلال في سوق ومصانع الدلال ولا يزال حتى الان، أسعار الدلال لديه بالمحل تبدأ من ١٠٠ ريال وحتى ٢٠٠٠ ريال بينما يصل سعر طقم الدلال (من ٣ إلى ٤ دلال بأحجام مختلفة) إلى ١٥ ألف ريال اعتماداً على النوعية المستخدمة لصنع الدلة وبالإضافة إلى اسم الصانع، هناك بعض الصناع المشهورين ويكون دائماً ختمهم موجود وواضح على الدلة ومنهم الرسلان، البغداداي والعليان.

After that he came back to Ha’il & stayed working in the same profession until 10 years ago he stopped working as heavy machinery driver because he was getting old and decided to own a shop for selling Arabian Coffee pot in this market, the prices of these pots in his shop starts from 100 Saudi Riyals – 2000 Saudi Riyals while a set of pots (3 – 4 pots in different sizes) goes to 15,000 Saudi Riyals depending on the materials used & the makers name. There are several famous makers for Arabian coffee pot well known like AlRasslan, AlBaghdadi & AlOliyan.
