Hello all, it’s been a while but after a whole year I’ve finally made a travel again even though it’s not for photography but there is no way I could travel with the intention of photographing and exploring through my lens, I had the chance to visit Poland for the 1st time and it was trip with my wife, the main reason I choose Poland cause it’s known beauty in nature and to visit and good friend of mine from the my calisthenics community in his hometown, and because of that I didn’t need to go to the usual Arab tourist cities (thankfully) my route was arriving to Warsaw – Olsztyn – Ostróda – Gdańsk (quick visit) – Warsaw.
I rented a car which was the best decision caused it serves us really good specially in Ostróda (I’ll say why later) but the people of Poland were super nice & friendly! the scenes of grass land till the horizon and tall trees in the forest are probably my favorite thing during the trip, I loved the sound of the forest, walking on the dried leaves and enjoying the peacefulness there, one other thing that I loved were the cafes mostly are by simple cozy designs away from the modern look, I mean wooden furniture, coaches & some personal touches that feels you are at someone’s home rather then a cafe. The weather at our visit was cold and it happens to be the coldest week of the month so we struggled a bit but luckily no rain.
Warsaw was the capital and the old town was somehow decent & nice, the Royal park which had the old Royal Palace was so beautiful, it was one night stay at the beginning of the trip then another 2 nights at the end. Olsztyn was mostly beautiful, we booked our stay only to realize It’s right beside the old town which was more beautiful and cozy then the one in Warsaw, it had more beautiful cafes and walk places and the river was gorgeous, also the shops are somehow better and we found lots of interesting things to buy, we also visited the forest near the lake and it was amazing and filled with locals who either walking or running or even bicycling, it was a great 2 night stay in this city and would definitely come back if I had the chance.
Ostróda was next, it was small city and booked whole cabin north of the city of between the lake & the forest, and this is where the car was handy because it takes about 7-10 min just to get to the city with the car (the roads are small and for that not driving fast) this is were my friend is living so it showed us some cool places and we did a hike for over 3 hours in the forest, plus we had a bout ride and experiencing the canal too and of course enjoying the cafes, we stayed in the cabin for 5 nights and enjoyed each day at time, I even had the time to go workout with my friend in of the calisthenics parks, also in of those day we decided to go to Gdańsk for quick visit and we just gone to the old town which has an amazing sight of buildings and big river and lots and lots of restaurants and cafes, it was only hour & half drive so we returned to Ostróda before nightfall.
In summary the trip was amazing, the country was beautiful and it’s people were nice, I would go back if I had the chance again.
مرحبا بالجميع، مرت مدة طويلة ولكن بعد سنة كاملة قمت بالذهاب إلى رحلة جديدة مرة اخرى على الرغم من أنها ليست للتصوير ولكن يستحيل علي السفر بدون نية التصوير والاستكشاف عن طريق عدستي، كانت لدي الفرصة الجميلة لزيارة دولة بولندا للمرة الأولى وكانت زوجتي هي رفيقة هذه الرحلة عن غير المعتاد، السبب الرئيسي وراء اختيار بولندا بسبب شهرتها في طبيعتها الجميلة وأيضاً بسبب رغبتي في زيارة صديق لي من مجتمع الكاليسثنكس في أحد المدن وبسبب هذا الصديق ولحسن الحظ لم يكن علي الذهاب إلى المدن السياحية التي يرتادها عادة السياح العرب (لأنني حقيقة لست مهتماً لهذا النوع من السياحة) كان مخطط رحلة كالتالي: مدينة وارسو – مدينة أولشتن – مدينة أوسترودا – مدينة قدانسك (زيارة سريعة) – مدينة وارسو.
قمت باستئجار سيارة والذي كان قراراً موفقاً وبالتحديد لمدينة أوسترودا (وسأذكر ذلك لاحقاً) سكان دولة بولندا لطيفين وودودين جداً! المشاهد الشاسعة للحقول الخضراء على مد النظر والأشجار الطويلة والعملاقة في الغابات كانت الشيء المفضل عندي طوال الرحلة، المشي بين الأشجار على أنغام الورق الجاف تحت قدماي خلق شعوراً جميل وهادئ، شييء اخر كذلك أحببت المقاهي الموجودة بسبب أن معظمها يظهر بإسلوب تقليدي وبسيط بعيداً عن المظهر الحديث، أعني الأثاث الخشبي والأريكة التي ممكن أن تراها في أي منزل واللمسات الخاصة لكل مقهى تجعلك تشعر أنك داخل منزل وليس مقهى، الجو في أثناء زيارتنا للدولة كان بارد وصادف أن أبرد أسبوع في ذلك الشهر (اخر أسبوع بارد في الشتاء) والذي جعلنا نعاني بعض الشيء ولكن من حسن الحظ بدون أمطار.
مدينة وارسو هي العاصمة والبلدة القديمة التي تقع في وسطها تقريباً كانت إلى حد ما جميلة ومتواضعة، الحديقة الملكية والذي يقع بها القصر الملكي القديم كانت جميلة للغاية، مكثنا في المدينة لمدة ليلية واحدة عند الوصول وقبل العود مكثنا ليلتين. مدينة أولشتن كانت الوجهة التالية وكانت جميلة جداً، تبين أن حجز السكن الذي أخذته يقع مباشرة عند البلدة القديمة وهي كانت أجمل من تلك الموجودة في العاصمة، بساطتها وتوزيع المباني بها مع وجود العديد من المقاهي الجميلة مع وجود النهر بجانب البلدة جعلها أجمل بكثير، المحلات الموجودة كانت أفضل من تلك بالعاصمة ووجدنا العديد من الأشياء المثيرة للاهتمام للشراء، قمنا كذلك بزيارة الغابة الموجودة عند البحيرة وكانت جداً رائعة ومليئة بالسكان المحليين الذين يمارسون رياضة المشي او بإستخدام الدراجة، كانت ليلتين رائعتين في هذه المدينة وبدون شك أستطيع العودة لها اذا سنحت لي الفرصة مرة اخرى.
الوجهة التالية كانت مدينة أوسترودا، مدينة صغيرة مقارنة بمدينة أولشتن وقمت بحجز كوخ يقع في الطرف الشمالي لمدينة بين البحيرة والغابة وهنا تحديداً كانت استئجار السيارة الخيار الموفق بسبب أنه يستغرق الذهاب من الكوخ للمدينة قرابة ٧ – ١٠ دقائق بالسيارة (الشوارع صغيرة) وهنا في المدينة يعيش صديقي الذي أتيت لزيارته وقام بتوجيهنا على عدة أماكن رائعة وقمنا أيضاً بالمشي في الغابة لأكثر من ٣ ساعات، بالاضافة إلى جولة في القارب بالبحيرة وكانت هناك تجربة المرور في القناة البحرية وبالطبع المقاهي هناك كانت جميلة، مكثنا في الكوخ ٥ ليالي واستمتعنا في كل يوم على حدة، حتى كان لدي وقت للتمرين مع صديقي في أحد حدائق الكاليسثنكس، وقمت بإستغلال أحد الأيام للذهاب لمدينة قدانسك والتي تبعد قرابة ساعة ونصف لزيارة سريعة وبالطبع ذهبنا إلى البلدة القديمة التي كانت جداً جميلة بمبانيها العالية وتنوع المقاهي والمطاعم وقمت بالعودة لـ أوسترودا قبل حلول الليل.
في النهاية كانت الرحلة جميلة جداً والدولة كانت رائعة أكثر مما كنت أتوقع، السكان كانوا لطيفين وبإمكاني العودة مرة اخرى في أي وقت.
