Hello all, last December I visited Hail city which is my 2nd visit, I heard about the Friday Market which a weekly market in Hail so I wanted to visit and documented it, I got up early in a very cold morning & went there before sunrise and was surprised by the number of people who wear already there, even with the darkness & the cold weather, it had the bird market & lots of other stuff & clothes too, and I can’t forgot the kindness & generosity of the people.
مرحبا جميعاً، في شهر ديسمبر الماضي قمت بزيارة مدينة حائل وهي زيارتي الثانية لها، سمعت بسوق يوم الجمعة الأسبوعي في المدينة وأردت الذهاب إليه لتصويره وتوثيقه، لذا استيقظت مبكراً جداً في الجو البارد وتوجهت هناك قبل شروق الشمس وكنت متفاجئاً من عدد الناس المتواجدة هناك مسبقاً على الرغم من أن المكان مظلم والجو بارد جداً، السوق كان يحتوي على سوق الطيور بالإضافة إلى الكثير من الأغراض الاخرى والملابس كذلك، أوه ولا أستطيع أن أنسى كرم وطيبة أهلها.
Before the sunrise there isn’t any light around so people need to use their mobile flashlight in order to see & check what they want to buy, this man is checking the chicken before buying it
قبل شروق الشمس لا يوجد أي مصدر اضاءة في المكان لذا الناس تحتاج إلى استخدام اضاءة الجوال التي بحوزتهم لكي يستطيعوا رؤية المكان وتفحص ما يريدون شراءه، هذا الرجل يتفحص الدجاجة بواسطة اضاءة جواله قبل شراءها
But some sellers (which were only 2 at that day) have brought their own light on their space only
بعض الباعة (وكانوا فقط اثنين في ذلك اليوم) أحضروا اضاءتهم الخاصة لمساحتهم فقط
An ice-cream truck which was serving hot tea & coffee
شاحنة ايس كريم كانت تقدم بعض المشروبات الساخنة
The sun came out & people started to increase in the market
بعد طلوع الشمس بدأ عدد الناس بالتزايد في السوق
Even with the sun the weather is still very cold and people are warming up theirselves, even sellers are covering some smaller birds with blanket so they get some warm
حتى بعد طلوع الشمس لا يزال الجو بارداً جداً والناس تبحث عن مصدر للدفء لنفسها، حتى الباعة يقومون بتغطية بعض الطيور لتدفئتها

بعض الباعة المختلفين في السوق، رجال ونساء
Funny scene was a chicken escaped from its cage & the seller chasing it across the market
مشهد طريف كان عبارة عن دجاجة هربت من قفصها والبائع يحاول اصطيادها
Group of men are having breakfast with a traditional meal (bread & onion with olive oil) along with Arabian coffee & red tea, they were kind enough to invite me to eat with them
مجموعة من الرجال يتناولون الافطار عبارة عن طبق شعبي محلي يسمى رغفان وهو خبز بالبصل وزيت الزيتون وبالطبع لديهم الشاي الأحمر والقهوة العربية، كانوا كرماء بدعوتي لتناول الافطار معهم
After that there was couple of people who were selling this traditional meal in the market and most of them are women, I bought one & it was really good
بعد ذلك شاهدت عدة أشخاص يصنعون هذا الطبق التقليدي في السوق ومعظمهم من النساء، قمت بشراء بعضها وكانت لذيذة
Also in the market I’ve seen a cockfight which was really interesting
أيضاً في السوق شهدت قتال للديوك والذي كان شيئاً مثيراً للإهتمام
