Hello all, today’s post is from a small city in Qassim Region which is AlRass city, because it’s a small city there was only the local market downtown so my walk mainly from there, and it happens that it rained a little bit, this photowalk was part of my trip to Qassim Region in December 2015.
مرحبا جميعاً، تدوينة اليوم من مدينة صغيرة في منطقة القصيم وهي مدينة الرس، ولأنه مساحتها صغيرة كان المكان الوحيد الذي علي التوجه له هو السوق المحلي وسط المدينة، وصادف خلال جولتي هطول رشات من المطر، هذه الجولة كانت من ضمن رحلتي لمنطقة القصيم في ديسمبر ٢٠١٥.
Just random people from the market
مجرد اشخاص عشوائيين من السوق
Seller is spending his time on the mobile while waiting for costumers
البائع يقضي وقته على هاتفه المحمول بينما ينتظر الزبائن
Woman is sitting in the middle of the sideway and sadly she’s a bagger
امرأة متسولة تجلس في منتصف الرصيف
Warning sign placed by the local municipality to some sellers in order to organize the market
لوحة تحذيرية وضعت من قبل بلدية المدينة وموجهة إلى بعض الباعة من أجل تنظيم السوق بشكل أكبر
Big drinking water fridges placed in the street, the water is for anyone to drink for free
برادات ماء سبيل كبيرة الحجم على أحد الأرصفة لمرتادي السوق
Vintage & old car, and by the looks at it I think it works but apparently it’s parked here for a while
سيارة قديمة وعتيقة ويبدو من مظهرها أنه تعمل ولكن من الواضح أنها متوقفة هنا منذ فترة من الزمن
Man is working on some of the grains to make it more pure & ready to sell in a small grain storage shop
رجل يعمل على تنقيح الحبوب وازالة الشوائب بها لكي تصبح جاهزة للبيع في مستودع صغير للحبوب
Small bicycle repairing shop
محل صغير للدراجات
Sudanese man owns this grain shop and the name of the shop is House of Happiness
رجل سوداني يملك محل للحبوب واسم المحل بيت السعادة
Foreign worker repairs & restores traditional Arabian coffee pot
عامل أجنبي يعمل في إصلاح وتجديد دلة القهوة العربية التقليدية
Children are taking a break while waiting for their mother to finish next store
أطفال جالسين للراحة بإنتظار والدتهم الموجودة في المحل المجاور
Car was parked here while it rained for a little bit it was gone after the rain stopped
سيارة كانت متوقفة هنا أثناء هطول المطر ولم تقم بالتحرك إلا بعد توقف المطر
As always there is a mosque in the middle of the market
كما هي العادة دائماً يوجد مسجد في وسط السوق
In another side of the market there was small space for women sellers
في جهة من السوق كان يوجد مساحة صغيرة بها بعض الباعة من النساء
Like most cities, the downtown market mostly contain some secrets like old houses and sometimes abandoned
مثل معظم المدن، سوق وسط المدينة عادة يحتوي على بعض الأسرار مثل بعض البيوت القديمة والمهجورة
More modern & big markets (malls) invaded the old ones
الأسواق الحديثة والمجمعات قامت بغزو الأسواق القديمة
Before my walk ends I met Abu Abdullah which he owns a big truck loaded in lots of shipping items for different cities in the Qassim Region, I really enjoyed chatting with him
قبل انتهاء جولتي إلتقيت بـ أبوعبدالله ويملك شاحنة كبيرة محملة بالبضائع من مختلف الأنواع يقوم بتوصيلها لمختلف المدن في منطقة القصيم، استمتعت بالحديث معه
