في أحد زاويا قرية القرين أحد القرى الشمالية لمحافظة الأحساء وجدت غرفة صغيرة في أحد المزارع يقصدها بعض كبار السن بقصد اللقاء وقضاء الوقت مع بعضهم البعض. أبونوح، أبويعقوب، أبوعلي وغيرهم يحكون لي بعض قصصهم.
In one of the corners of AlQurain village which is part of the Northern villages in AlHasa, Saudi Arabia I found a small room in one of the farms that some of the local old men goes to for meeting others and spending their time there. Abo Nouh, Abu Yaqoub, Abo Ali and the rest of them tell me some of their stories.
طاهر العصري (أبونوح) يعمل مزارعاً طيلة حياته وتلقى تعليمه في الزراعة من أبيه رحمة الله عليه، بونوح يعمل ويطلب رزقه بالزراعة عند الطلب في مزارع أهل القرية وما حولها، يقول أن معظم ما يقوم بزرعه وتحصيله عبارة عن الطماط والخيار والبقدونس والبصل. بونوح حج لأول مرة قبل سنتين من إلتقاط هذه الصورة ولديه ٤ أولاد فقط.
Taher AlAsri (Abo Nouh) works as a farmer his whole life and he learned it from his late father, Abo Nouh works as a farmer for a living in different farms in the villages when he’s needed, he says that he plants different kind of fruit & vegetables like tomatoes, onions, parsley and cucumber. Abo Nouh have gone to AlHajj for the first & only time 2 years ago from taking this photo and he got 4 children.
يوسف السلامة (أبويعقوب) وينادونه أيضاً بوسلامة عمل مزارعاً لأكثر من ٥٥ عاماً في زراعة الجزر والطماط والباذنجان والكوسة وأيضاً قطف الرطب و تكييس التمور، أيضاً هو الاخر يعمل ويطلب رزقه بالزراعة عند الطلب من مزارع أهل القرية وماحولها. بوسلامة لديه ٢ من الأولاد أحدهم في الدمام والاخر في الرياض، يعيش في منزل بناه والده قبل ٤٥ عاماً في القرية وتعيش معه اثنتين من اخواته الغير متزوجات.
Yousef AlSalamah (Abo Yaqoub) also called Abo Salalmah, worked as farmer for more then 55 years planting carrots, tomatoes and eggplants, also picking dates from palm trees, he also works as a farmer for a living in different farms in the villages when he’s needed. Abo Salamah have 2 boys one in Dammam and the other in Riyadh, he’s lives in a house which was built by his late father 45 years ago plus 2 of his unmarried sisters lives with him.
علي الخليفة (أبوعيسى) عمل ٥٠ عاماُ في مجال النقل العام وبالتحديد نقل الحديد والأخشاب بين الأحساء والدمام ولديه مزرعة ورثها عن أبيه رحمة الله عليه. بوعيسى لديه ٥ أولاد و٤ بنات.
Ali AlKhalifah (Abo Eissa) worked for 50 years in as a truck driver transporting woods & iron between Dammmam and AlHasa. He owns a farm that inherited it from his late father and have 5 boys & 4 girls.
حسين الحي (أبوعلي) عمل في وزارة الزراعة ٣٢ عاماً وأثناء تلك المدة عمل في مشروع الري والزراعة في الأحساء لمدة ١٢ عاماً، يقول أبوعلي أن في اخر ٦ أعوام من عمله كان يعمل ١٢ ساعة في اليوم بسبب نقص الموظفين. لديه ٤ أولاد و٧ بنات ويقضي الان معظم وقته في هذا المكان.
Hussain AlHai (Abo Ali) worked in the Ministry Of Agriculture for 32 years and during that time for 12 years he was involved in the irrigation and agriculture project, Abo Ali says that he worked for 12 hour shift in the last 6 years of his job because of lack of staff. He nows has 4 boys & 7 girls and spends most of his time here.
أبوعلي الصرنوخ عمل مزارعاً ويمتلك مزرعة منذ أكثر من ٤٠ عاماً، يعمل في قيادة باصات للنقل العام والمدارس منذ ٧ أعوام كمصدر رزق اضافي ولديه ٢ من الأولاد.
Abo Ali AlSrrnoq worked also as farmer but he owns a farm for more then 40 years ago, he lately worked as bus driver for public transportation and for school and he has 2 children.
جميعهم وأكثر اعتادوا الاجتماع هنا من الصباح الباكر حتى الظهر ومن بعد العصر حتى المغرب، يقول بونوح وهو صاحب هذه الغرفة الصغيرة أن الجميع يساهم في احتياجات الجلسة، ما يميز المكان هو جدرانه الخشبية الممتلئة بأرقام الجوالات والأسماء المختلفة، وعند تواجدي هناك كان فطورهم أبسط ما يمكن وقد شاركتهم هذا الفطور الذي كان عبارة عن بعض الخبز مع الشاي.
All of them and more are used to gather here from early hours in the morning until noon and then from the evening until the sunset, Abo Nouh says which he owns this small room that everybody contribute for the it’s needs, what special about this place that it’s wooden walls are filled with mobile number for lots of people from the village. While I was there they has a really simple breakfast which they share it with me which was only red tea & bread.
