Hello all, another post from Jazan for my Saudi Street project but this time it’s from the old area in Jazan city, back in 2016 I photographed near it which was Day 49 – Jazan and after getting back 7 years later I had to visit the area twice in order to photograph and document as much as I can, I met some interesting people there & seen a lot of really good scenes.

مرحبا بالجميع، تدوينة اخرى من جازان لمشروع حياة الشارع السعودية ولكن هذه المرة من الأحياء القديمة بمدينة جازان، في عام ٢٠١٦ قمت بزيارة وتصوير حي مجاور له وكان ذلك في يوم ٤٩ – جازان وبعد العودة بقرابة ٧ سنوات كان لابد لي من زيارة هذه الأحياء مرتين لكي أتمكن من التصوير والتوثيق بالقدر المستطاع، قابلت الكثير من الناس المثيرة للإهتمام وشاهدت العديد من المشاهد الجيدة.

When I arrived there was small old market called Alsouq Aldakheli so I had to take a quick look before walking towards the area noticed some parts of it are closed with roof which is good

عندما وصلت كان هناك سوق صغير ويسمى السوق الداخلي لذا كان علي أن ألقي نظرة سريعة قبل بدء جولتي تجاه الحي القديم ولاحظت أن معظم أجزاء السوق مسقفة وهذا الشيء كان جيداً

And there beside the market of course some vendors on the sidewalk

وبجانب السوق هناك بالطبع بعض الباعة على جانب الطريق

أحد المنازل الشعبية التي يكثر تواجدها في الحي

امرأة تعود إلى منزلها من السوق

Building that got demolished leaving one side untouched for unknown reason

مبنى قد تهدمه مسبقاً بدون أن يتم هدم أحد الجوانب وقد ترك هكذا بدون سبب واضح

One the left we have he retired from teaching, in the middle ex-heavy equipment driver and on the right he used work in the health ministry

على اليسار متقاعد من التعليم، وفي المنتصف سائق معدات ثقيلة سابقاً، وعلى اليمين كان يعمل في وزارة الصحة وتقاعد منها

I saw some workshops there which are for fixing & cleaning shisha pipes, this man is cleaning the tube from both sides before polishing it to be picked up by the costumer

رأيت بعض الورش هناك والتي تقوم بتنظيف وإصلاح الشيشة، هذا الشاب يقوم بتنظيف مداخل ومخارج الشيشة قبل أن يقوم بتلميعها وتجهيزها للزبون
