Again with another post from AlHasa because I got a lot in my archive, this time in village called AlTaraf, I aimed to visit the weekly market on Friday morning which is usually crowded and it really was since it was winter & the weekend, here are the results.
عودة مع تدوينة اخرى من الأحساء أيضاً بسبب أنه لدي الكثير في أرشيفي منها، هذه المرة في قرية الطرف، كنت مركزاً على إلتقاط السوق الصباحي الأسبوعي والذي يقام صباح يوم الجمعة والذي يكون عادة مكتظاً بالناس وكان كذلك بسبب أنها عطلة نهاية الأسبوع وأن الجو بارد، هذه بعض النتائج.
When I arrived some still having breakfast before costumers arrive to the market
عندما وصلت البعض لا يزال يتناول افطاره في المكان الذي يبيع فيه قبل وصول الزبائن للسوق
While others arriving bit late to the market to set up their space
بينما هناك اخرون يصلون متأخرين إلى السوق لتجهيز مساحتهم
Almost each seller has something different from the other, how they arrange their merchandise in a small space, how they sit waiting for customers & what they sell
تقريباً كل بائع يكون مختلف عن الاخر، كيفية ترتيب بضاعتهم في مساحة صغيرة، طريقة جلوسهم في انتظار الزبائن ونوع البضاعة المعروضة للبيع
This seller is carefully arranging these rosaries on a small table which is very common thing in arab countries for men
هذا البائع يقوم بعناية بترتيب المسابح على طاولته الصغيرة
This seller is spreading these gemstones in white piece of cloth, it’s really not about not caring about how they are organized, it’s just a common thing showcase them like this
هذا البائع يقوم بنشر الأحجار الكريمة على قطعة قماش بيضاء، بالحقيقة الأمر ليس بسبب أنه لا يريد ترتيبها بشكل أفضل ولكن جرت العادة أن يتم عرضها بهذه الطريقة
Costumers that don’t mind to be photographed, a woman caring here things in a carton box and and old man hiring a carrier to help him with his the heavy things that he bought
زبائن السوق الذين لا يمانعون التصوير، امرأة تحمل حاجياتها في صندوق كرتوني، ورجل مسن يستعين بأحد الحمالة ليساعده على حمل أغراضه الثقيلة والتي اشتراها من السوق
Part of the market is side bird Auction where lots come to showcase their bird collections (usually pigeons) for bidding
يوجد حراج لبيع الطيور وهو جزء من السوق والذي يرتاده الكثير لعرض ما لديهم من مجموعتهم من الطيور (والتي تكون عادة طيور الحمام) للحراج عليها
Seller hanging out a piece of cloth so he can cover the unnecessary things
البائع قام بتعليق قطعة من القماش لكي يقوم بتغطية الأشياء الغير ضرورية في مساحته الصغيرة
Old caprice fully loaded with bird cages arrives late at the market
سيارة كابريس قديمة معبئة بأقفاص الطيور تصل متأخرة للسوق
Sometimes you notice people always sitting with the seller just to hang out & help him if needed
أحياناً تلاحظ وجود أشخاص يجالسون البائع فقط لتقضية الوقت معه ويساعدونه إن احتاج لذلك
