عبدالله بن محمد الرباعي الغامدي أبوعبدالرحمن من قلب مدينة الباحة امتهن مهنة الخياطة للزي النسائي التراثي لأهل الجنوب منذو الصغر، كان أبوعبدالرحمن متواجداً في مدينة الطائف لمدة ٤٠ عام يعمل خياطاً قبل أن ينتقل من هناك إلى الباحة قبل قرابة ١٠ سنوات، بعد ذلك أصبح يعمل في هذا المحل الصغير وهو من ضمن عدة محلات لسوق صغير للأعمال التراثية المتعددة.
Aduallah Bin Mohammed AlGhamdi (Abu Abdurahman) from the heart of AlBahah city, he worked as tailor for traditional women dress from a young age, Abu Abdurahman lived in Taif city & worked for 40 years as a tailor before moving from there to AlBahah city 10 years ago, after that he started working in this small space which is part of small building for Heritage shops.
يذكر أبوعبدالرحمن أن خياطة الزي النسائي التراثي لأهل الجنوب كان مهنة متخصصة لدى الرجال في الزمن الماضي ولكن مع مرور الوقت أصبح الذين لا يزالون يمارسون هذه الحرفة نادراً جداً من الرجال، ومع ذلك يوجد عدد من الزبائن من مختلف المحافظات المجاورة الذين يقصدون أبوعبدالرحمن لشراء الزي التراثي لبناتهم ونسائهم.
Abu Abdurahman says that making the traditional woman dress was a men’s job for tailors in the past but in the present time there’s rarely from men who still making this kinds of dress, but even so many costumers from different cities around AlBahah come to Abu Adurahman to buy his dresses for their wives & daughters.
يذكر أن العمل الأكبر يقع في عمل الزخاف الذهبية والملونة وياخذ حوالي يومين للزي الكبير ونصف يوم للزي الصغير ويترواح أسعارهم بين ٥٠ ريال إلى ٤٠٠ ريال.
He also mentions that the important part of making the dress is the decoration part which he usually take 2 days for the adult dress & half a day for the kid dress, and finally the price range are from 50SR to 400SR.
