Hello all, finally a new day from my project and this time it’s from AlHasa, Mubarraz from one of the oldest area that this city has. It was a smooth photo walk because I had the chance to scout the area before coming back to take street photos for my project. Anyway I don’t have much to say so enjoy the photos !

مرحبا بكم، يوم جديد لمشروعي أخيراً وهذه المرة من منطقة الأحساء مدينة المبرز من أحد الأحياء القديمة بها. لقد كانت جولة انسيابية اذا صح القول بسبب أنه كانت لدي الفرصة باستكشاف المكان سابقاً قبل أن آتي مجدداً  للتصوير. على كل حال ليس لدي الكثير لقوله غير أمنيتي أن تستمتعوا بالصور والجولة !

Like always the first sight I see are doors or entrance that makes this area unique somehow, don’t tell me it’s all the same! I can’t see it that way

I remember that I had a good talk with them, asking about the area and the people around

Old people sit beside their house usually and watch the road and having conversation with other, nowadays the young men sit beside their house and just using the mobile

الأشخاص المسنين عادة يجلسون بجانب منزلهم ويشاهدون الطريق أو يحادثون غيرهم، في هذه الأيام الشباب يجلسون بجانب منزلهم ويستخدمون الهاتف المتنقل فقط

Usually in each area I visit, I find something that I didn’t encounter before like the long stairs in Makkah or the unique gap between the houses in Um AlHamam, Qatif. In this case I found these wested dolls, I was attractive to them in a way, they were only two but if anyone asked me about this post, this is the first thing I’m gonna remember !

عادة في كل حي أقوم بزيارته وتصويره أجد شيئاً مميزاً لا أراه قبلاً مثل الدرج الطويل في مكة أو المسافة الفارغة بين المنازل في أم الحمام بالقطيف. في هذه الحالة وجدت دمى مرمية ومتسخة، لا أعلم فقد كنت منجذباً لها بطريقة ما، نعم لقد كانوا فقط اثنتين ولكن إن قام أحد بسؤالي عن هذه التدوينة فهو أول شيئاً سأقوم بتذكره!

This is got to be the weirdest ministry in the country ! in each city and in each area it just has a different thing to offer although it’s all came from the same ministry ! like this on the mosques that I’ve never ever seen like it before

يبدو أن هذه أغرب وزارة في الدولة ! في كل مدينة وفي كل حي يكون هناك شيئاً مختلفاً على الرغم من أنها تأتي تحت مظلة واحدة ! مثل هذا الشيء الذي لم أره قبلاً قط

Sometimes it’s just strange how cars park in places you can’t imagine inside the area !

أحياناً تستغرب من بعض السيارات المتوقفة داخل الحي وكيفية وصولها هناك !

This tailor was nice enough to let me in and take his picture, he was happy that I was documenting the area with my camera

هذا الخياط كان لطيفاً لسماحه لي بتصويره، ولقد كان سعيداً بأنني كنت أوثق الحي بكاميرتي

It was kinda a hot day, so sadly I didn’t catch anyone on these couch

One of the kids that I met, didn’t chat with him at all, just took a my shot and moved on

This old man was waiting for someone on the main street, had a little chat about the area until he was comfortable to be photographed

At the near end of my walk when the weather started to become cool, people started to go out and sit in their usual place

مع اقتراب نهاية جولتي أصبح الجو معتدلاً والناس بدأت تظهر وتجلس في أماكنها المعتادة

I like seeing kids still playing at the streets stuff like this !
