Hello all, today’s is going to be from Taif city, which is part of Makkah Region, the last time I published a post from this city was in 2014 and it was the first city to visit for the project outside the Eastern Region (which I’m based in), anyway I went to the main market in the center of the city and a lot has changed since I was here, like before I went there early in the morning.
مرحبا جميعاً، تدوينة اليوم ستكون من مدينة الطائف التابعة لمنطقة مكة المكرمة، المرة الأخيرة التي قمت بنشر تدوينة من هذه المدينة كانت في ٢٠١٤ وكانت هي أول مدينة أقوم بزيارتها من خارج المنطقة الشرقية للمشروع، على كل حال ذهبت إلى السوق وسط البلد والذي تغير بشكل كبير عن المرة الماضية التي كنت بها هنا، مثل المرة الماضية كانت زيارتي في الصباح الباكر.
At one of the market entrance the famous foul restaurant which was really good! The woman sitting beside the door is a beggar which is quiet common nowadays
في أحد مداخل السوق يوجد مطعم فول مشهور وكان الطبق الذي طلبته لذيذاً! بجانب الباب تجلس أحد المتسولات التي أصبح وجودهم أمر متعارف عليه هذه الأيام
Most morning they have an auction for honey since it’s pretty famous in this Region, people gather around the table and place their prices after testing the honey from the barrel
أغلب الصباحات يوجد بها حراج خاص للعسل فقط بما أن العسل مشهور في الطائف وما حوله، الناس تتجمع حول الطاولة للمزايدة بعد أن يتذوقون العسل من البرميل الخاص به

كبار في السن لديهم عربات بسيطة يستخدمونها لوضع بضاعتهم المكونة من بعض الخضروات على الطرق الداخلية للسوق

مجموعة من الرجال يجلسون مع صاحب هذا المحل الصغير والذي يبيع به بعض المسابيح وميداليات للمفاتيح بالإضافة إنه لديه حرفة في نقض على تلك الميداليات

I’ve met him in 2014 & surprisingly I saw him again, he was kind enough to show me one of the oldest building in the market, he’s standing on small low ceiling path entrance
قابلت هذا الرجل سابقاً في نفس السوق عام ٢٠١٤ وبشكل مدهش قابلته مرة اخرى، كان مرحباً بي وقمنا بزيارة أحد أقدم المباني الموجودة في السوق، في الصورة هو واقف في ممر المدخل الصغير ومنخفض السقف

This man has a different story, I also met him in 2014 and spent the morning looking for him to deliver him a printed photo of him, I took photos of him while only selling tomatoes, I was so happy to see him again and he was also happy with his fellow sellers around to see the printed photo of him
هذا المسن لديه قصة مختلفة، أيضاً قابلته في عام ٢٠١٤ وكنت قد أمضيت صباحي أبحث عنه لكي أقوم بتسليمه صورة مطبوعة له، قمت بتصويره سابقاً وهو فقط يبيع الطماط وكان يمسكه وينظفها بطريقة ملفتة، كنت سعيداً جداً لرؤيته مرة اخرى وكان هو ومن معه من الباعة سعيدون كذلك لرؤية الصورة المطبوعة
