In another morning I returned to Buraydah, Qassim to one of the markets down town. Sadly the market is being redecorated and a lot of work there, then I found a space area for Craftsmen and luckily I found 2 old men working there & a collector who has a large collection in his shop, some for display and other are not for sale. So in this post I’ll be displaying stories more then the usual. If you didn’t see Part 1 from Buraydah please do!
في صباح اخر توجهت أيضاً إلى بريدة في منطقة القصيم لزيارة احد الأسواق في وسط المدينة، للأسف كان السوق المقصود يعاد ترميمه بالكامل لذا لم يكن بالمكان المثالي للتصوير، بعد تجولي وجدت بالقرب منه سوق الحرفيين الذي قامت البلدية ببناءه وتوفيره للحرفيين الموجودين بالمنطقة، لحسن الحظ وجدت اثنين من كبار السن وهم يمارسون حرفتهم. لذا في هذه التدوينة سأقوم بعرض قصص أكثر من العادة وأكثر من صور التي تمثل حياة الشارع. إذا لم تشاهد الجزء الأول من مدينة بريدة اضغط هنا !

منطقة عمل، في أحد الممرات بالسوق كانت هذه اللوحة التحذيرية منتشرة في كل مكان تنبه عن العمل الجاري بالسوق
Even the market is being redecorated, they just sit there waiting for costumers, it’s how that make a living
مع أن السوق يعاد ترميمه، يجلسون هناك بانتظار الزبائن، هم فقط يريدون الرزق والعيش
Different sights of the market
So I went I outside looking for another place nearby worth photographing and exploring
ذهبت خارج السوق للبحث عن مكان يستحق التصوير والاستكشاف
This alley is part of the market I visited and showed in Part 1, I didn’t know that they were so close to each other. I turned around and walked in a different direction
هذا الممر جزء من السوق الذي زرته وعرضته في الجزء الأول، لم أكن أعرف أنهم قريبين جداً لهذه الدرجة، لذا غيرت اتجاهي
I ended up arriving to this place which is a market or a space area built by the government for the craftsman who still around the area, so they provide them a place to work and sell their items
وصلت إلى هذا السوق الذي يسمى سوق الحرفيين والتي قامت البلدية ببناء لأحتضان الاشخاص الذين لا يزالون يمارسون الحرفة مثل النجارة والحدادة وغيرها
I saw lots & lots of doors like this, but I never saw how it was done, I was amazed that this old man was doing it. It was amazing how a simple tools transfer a piece of wood into art
رأيت الكثير والكثير من الأبواب مثل هذه ولكن لم أرى قط كيفية صنعها وتجهيزها، لقد كنت مذهولاً من هذا الرجل المسن بطريقته في نحتها. العجيب في أن هذه الأدوات البسيطة تحول قطعة من الخشب إلى شيء من الفن
The other old man who was opened and working had a friend with him filling his time with conversation while he was crafting this piece of wood
الرجل المسن الاخر والذي كان محله مفتوحاً وهو منهمك بالعمل بجانب أحد اصحابه الذي كان يملء وقته بالاحاديث معه في الوقت الذي كان يعمل على قطعة الخشب هذه
Suddenly I saw this old man in the open space, sitting down on a piece of cloth and cutting pieces of bread for the birds! I kept my distance, I didn’t want to bother him
وفجأة شاهدت هذا الرجل المسن في الساحة، يجلس على قطعة قماش يقوم بتقطيع الخبز المتيبس لتكون طعاماً للطيور! بقيت بعيداً بعض الشيء، لم أرد أن أزعجه بتاتاً
I mean if I haven’t been there to photograph, I would filled bags from stuff I saw here, this man has a shop of different & different kind of thing most are old and hand made, a lot of traditional stuff for sale, he said a lot of people buy stuff from him
لو لم أكن هنا لمجرد التصوير لخرجت من هذا المكان بأكياس ممتلئة، هذا المحل مليء بالأشياء المختلفة القديمة والتراثية والاثرية للبيع، يقول أن الكثير يقومون بالشراء من عنده
Meet Abu Adel, a famous collector in all over Qassim, his fame has reached many countries in the gulf like Kuwait & UAE. For the last 9 years he’s been collecting different kind if rare items from a lot of the countries in the middle east. This is his big space here where he shows some really rare items, some are for sale other are not! The ironic thing that I asked him if has some old vintage cameras, he said that a couple of weeks someone came and bought them all!
تعرفوا على أبوعادل الصمعاني، أحد أشهر جامعي التحف في منطقة القصيم، شهرته امتدت لدول الخليج منها الكويت والإمارات. منذ ٩ سنوات وأبوعادل يقوم بجمع التحف والاثار والأشياء النادرة والثمينة من مختلف الدول في الشرق الأوسط، لديه مساحة كبيرة هنا لعرض الكثير من أغراضه التي يبيع بعضها والاخر مجرد للعرض، المثير للسخرية أنني سألته عن بعض الكاميرات القديمة ان كان يملكها، قال لي أن قبل بضعة أسابيع اتى أحدهم وقام بشرائها كلها!
