Hello all, last December I visited Hail city which is my 2nd visit, I heard about the Friday Market which a weekly market in Hail so I wanted to visit and documented it, I got up early in a very cold morning & went there before sunrise and was surprised by the number of people who wear already there, even with the darkness & the cold weather, it had the bird market & lots of other stuff & clothes too, and I can’t forgot the kindness & generosity of the people.

مرحبا جميعاً، في شهر ديسمبر الماضي قمت بزيارة مدينة حائل وهي زيارتي الثانية لها، سمعت بسوق يوم الجمعة الأسبوعي في المدينة وأردت الذهاب إليه لتصويره وتوثيقه، لذا استيقظت مبكراً جداً في الجو البارد وتوجهت هناك قبل شروق الشمس وكنت متفاجئاً من عدد الناس المتواجدة هناك مسبقاً على الرغم من أن المكان مظلم والجو بارد جداً، السوق كان يحتوي على سوق الطيور بالإضافة إلى الكثير من الأغراض الاخرى والملابس كذلك، أوه ولا أستطيع أن أنسى كرم وطيبة أهلها.

Hello all, today I’m gonna publish photos from a city I visited once in 2014 which is Safwa city which is part from Qatif and posted Day 21 – Safwa it was a bit late re-visit but it’s all worth it, met a lot of people there and love how they reacted to camera, also the random alleys & streets never gets old for me.

مرحبا جميعاً، اليوم سأقوم بنشر صور من مدينة قمت بزيارتها في عام ٢٠١٤ وهي مدينة صفوى التابعة لمحافظة القطيف وقمت بنشر تدوينة اليوم ٢١ – صفوى كانت الزيارة متأخرة ولكنها تستحق تماماً، إلتقيت بكثير من الأشخاص هناك وكانوا سعيدين برؤية شخص حامل للكاميرا وتفاعلوا بشكل لطيف، أيضاً الممرات الضيقة والشوارع العشوائية أبداً تبقى منعشة لي.

Dammam Central Lockdown – Photojournalism

On Monday 16th of March 2020 the Eastern Province Municipality in Saudi Arabia decided to close all malls, open major market on the main streets & central of the cities with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies & restaurants due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the country to prevent more spread, on Thursday 19th of March I visited Dammam Central Market at 04:00 pm which is usually consider a very active time on this day because it’s the beginning of the weekend, but the streets were almost empty, people just passing by the different closed shops and some sellers are just sitting by their closed shop drinking tea & chatting with others in this free time which is killing them.

في يوم الإثنين ١٦ مارس ٢٠٢٠ قامت أمانة المنطقة الشرقية في السعودية بقرار إغلاق المجمعات التجارية والأسواق الشعبية المفتوحة وعلى بعض الشوارع الرئيسية وسوق وسط المدينة لجميع مدن المنطقة مع إستثناء محلات المواد الغذائية والصيدليات والمطاعم وذلك بسبب وباء فايروس الكورونا المنتشر عالمياً وفي البلاد، في يوم الخميس ١٩ مارس ٢٠٢٠ الساعة ٤ مساءً قمت بزيارة سوق وسط المدينة والذي يعتبر من أوقات الذروة في هذا اليوم كونه بداية عطلة الأسبوع ولكن الشوارع كانت شبه خالية، الناس عابرون للمحلات المختلفة المغلقة وكان هناك بعض الباعة الجالسون بجانب محلاتهم المغلقة يشربون الشاي ويتحادثون مع بعضهم في ظل الفراغ القاتل.

Hello all, today’s post is from a familiar village which I already published from which is AlQarah village in AlHasa (visit the previous posts Day 51 and Day 56), walking in the alleys of the village has a never ending satisfaction feel for me and because this village is my original hometown from my family, I feel like I should never stop visiting, but here are some of shots of this walk.

مرحبا جميعاً، تدوينة اليوم من قرية مألوفة وقد نشرت عدة تدوينات مسبقاً وهي قرية القارة في الأحساء (قم بزيارة التدوينات اليوم ٥١ و اليوم ٥٦) المشي في الممرات الضيقة للقرية هو شعور جميل لا يمكن أن ينتهي بالنسبة لي وأيضاً بسبب أن القرية هي مسقط رأس عائلتي وأشعر أن علي أن لا أتوقف عن الزيارة لها للتصوير، على أي حال هذه بعض الإلتقاطات التي حصلت عليها من هذه الجولة.

Streets of Khartoum Part 5

Hello all, the last part of Khartoum state streets in Sudan, our heading was for Tuti Island which is the biggest island located on the Nail river and to be exact it’s located on the point which the white Nail river & the blue Nail river meet & merge together, in the island there was a village which has lots of traditional houses & narrow roads, the main road in the village which has some shops & lots of people who were really happy & welcoming to see me. مرحبا جميعاً، اخر جزء انشره من شوارع ولاية الخرطوم في السودان، كانت وجهتنا إلى جزيرة توتي الواقعة على ملتقى نهر النيل الأزرق مع نهر النيل الأبيض بالإضافة إلى أنها تعتبر أكبر جزيرة موجودة على نهر النيل، هناك تقع قرية بسيطة تحتوي على الكثير من البيوت التقليدية والممرات الضيقة، الشارع الرئيسي هناك يحتوي على بعض المحلات والكثير من الناس كانوا سعداء برؤيتي وكانوا مرحبين وأكثر. إذا لم تشاهد الأجزاء السابقة من شوارع السودان إضغط هنا.

Hello all, today I’m gonna show photos from a walk of a place I published before which is AlKhamis market which is a weekly market held Saturday (to read more about it check Day 62), I visited this market more then once nevertheless it was really great to visit the market again and capture new scenes & stories.

مرحبا جميعاً، اليوم سأقوم بعرض صور من جولة قمت بها لمكان نشرت عنه مسبقاً، سوق الخميس وهو سوق أسبوعي يقام كل يوم سبت (للقراءة أكثر عن هذا الأمر والمسمى راجع تدوينة يوم ٦٢)، لي عدة زيارات للسوق ومع ذلك كان الأمر رائعاً زيارة السوق مرة اخرى لإلتقاط مشاهد جديدة وقصص جديدة.

Hello all, today’s post is also from Abha city in Asir, but this time I visited one of the areas in the city to document how the houses & roads looks like in a mountain city, basically if you visit by car, you will go up and down like street mountains, my walk was in the morning so almost I didn’t photograph people there.

مرحبا جميعاً، تدوينة اليوم ستكون أيضاً من مدينة أبها التابعة لمنطقة عسير، لكن هذه المرة قمت بزيارة أحد الأحياء في المدينة لتوثيق الشوارع والمنازل الموجودة في ظل كونها في مدينة على جبل، بمعنى إذا قمت بالزيارة هناك بالسيارة ستجد نفسك تذهب إلى الأعلى والأسفل وكأنك تقوم في شارع في الجبال، جولتي كانت في الصباح لذلك تقريباً لم أقم بتصوير أي شخص هناك.

Hello all, more street photos for you and this time from Taif city west of Saudi Arabia  when I was there delivering printed photos in my last trip, because delivering takes so much time I only managed to capture a few photographs & some were at night.

مرحبا بالجميع، المزيد من صور حياة الشارع وهذه المرة من مدينة الطائف غرب السعودية عندما كنت متواجداً هناك لتسليم صور مطبوعة في رحلتي الأخيرة، وبسبب أن تسليم الصور يأخذ الكثير من الوقت لم أستطع إلتقاط أكثر من هذه المجموعة الصغيرة من الصور وكان بعضها في الليل.

Hello all, today’s post is from Abha city in Asir, I vistied Abha once before & photograph the Tuesday market but in a different day, but this time I went there in the same crowded day which is Tuesday & it was really great & different from before.

مرحبا جميعاً، تدوينة اليوم ستكون من مدينة أبها التابعة لمنطقة عسير، قمت بزيارة أبها سابقاً وتصوير سوق الثلاثاء المشهور ولكن كان في يوم مختلف، هذه المرة قمت بزيارة السوق في نفس اليوم الرئيسي له في الأسبوع وكان السوق مكتظاً بالناس والباعة وكان هذا الأمر رائعاً ومختلفاً.

Hello all, today’s is going to be from Taif city, which is part of Makkah Region, the last time I published a post from this city was in 2014 and it was the first city to visit for the project outside the Eastern Region (which I’m based in), anyway I went to the main market in the center of the city and a lot has changed since I was here, like before I went there early in the morning.

مرحبا جميعاً، تدوينة اليوم ستكون من مدينة الطائف التابعة لمنطقة مكة المكرمة، المرة الأخيرة التي قمت بنشر تدوينة من هذه المدينة كانت في ٢٠١٤ وكانت هي أول مدينة أقوم بزيارتها من خارج المنطقة الشرقية للمشروع، على كل حال ذهبت إلى السوق وسط البلد والذي تغير بشكل كبير عن المرة الماضية التي كنت بها هنا، مثل المرة الماضية كانت زيارتي في الصباح الباكر.
