Hello all, so I decided to go for walk in one of dammam corniche with the camera to document the daily life with the trees & the sea, I have to say I got pretty lucky encountering some scenes which I really liked.

مرحبا بالجميع، قررت الذهاب في جولة في كورنيش الحمراء بالدمام مع الكاميرا لتوثيق الحياة اليومية بجانب الأشجار والبحر، علي القول بأنه حالفني الحظ بحدوث عدة مشاهد والتي أعجبتني جداً.

Dammam Downtown – Street photography

The other day I went for a quick photowalk in Dammam, it was more observation then photographing and trying to wait for the right moment to capture, I do this kind of photography in places I already visited more then once in order to capture something different.

خرجت للتصوير في جولة سريعة في الدمام، كانت الجولة بصرية أكثر مما هي تصويرياً وحاولت في أكثر من مكان الانتظار لإلتقاط صورة في اللحظة المناسبة، أصبحت أميل لهذا في الأماكن التي سبق وزرتها أكثر من مرة لكي أخرج بصورة مختلفة.

Street photography at Night – Dammam Central

So I decided to go out at night for street photography for the first time in a while, I wanted to make my final results in color using the lights around in the streets & buildings, I went for the Dammam Central Market walked around for an hour, not quite happy with the results as I tried to play a little with the editing in Lightroom in order to reach different lights & colors.

قررت الخروج للتصوير حياة الشارع ليلاً للمرة الأولى منذ فترة طويلة، كنت أهدف إلى اخراج صور ملونة مستخدماً اضاءات الشوارع والمباني والمحلات، ذهبت إلى سوق الدمام وسط المدينة واخذت جولة هناك لقرابة ساعة تقريباً، لست سعيداً جداً بالنتائج حيث حاولت أن أتلاعب قليلاً بإعدادات المعالجة في برنامج اللايتروم لكي أصل إلى اضاءات وألوان مختلفة قليلاً.

Dammam Central Lockdown – Photojournalism

On Monday 16th of March 2020 the Eastern Province Municipality in Saudi Arabia decided to close all malls, open major market on the main streets & central of the cities with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies & restaurants due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the country to prevent more spread, on Thursday 19th of March I visited Dammam Central Market at 04:00 pm which is usually consider a very active time on this day because it’s the beginning of the weekend, but the streets were almost empty, people just passing by the different closed shops and some sellers are just sitting by their closed shop drinking tea & chatting with others in this free time which is killing them.

في يوم الإثنين ١٦ مارس ٢٠٢٠ قامت أمانة المنطقة الشرقية في السعودية بقرار إغلاق المجمعات التجارية والأسواق الشعبية المفتوحة وعلى بعض الشوارع الرئيسية وسوق وسط المدينة لجميع مدن المنطقة مع إستثناء محلات المواد الغذائية والصيدليات والمطاعم وذلك بسبب وباء فايروس الكورونا المنتشر عالمياً وفي البلاد، في يوم الخميس ١٩ مارس ٢٠٢٠ الساعة ٤ مساءً قمت بزيارة سوق وسط المدينة والذي يعتبر من أوقات الذروة في هذا اليوم كونه بداية عطلة الأسبوع ولكن الشوارع كانت شبه خالية، الناس عابرون للمحلات المختلفة المغلقة وكان هناك بعض الباعة الجالسون بجانب محلاتهم المغلقة يشربون الشاي ويتحادثون مع بعضهم في ظل الفراغ القاتل.

Streets of Khartoum Part 5

Hello all, the last part of Khartoum state streets in Sudan, our heading was for Tuti Island which is the biggest island located on the Nail river and to be exact it’s located on the point which the white Nail river & the blue Nail river meet & merge together, in the island there was a village which has lots of traditional houses & narrow roads, the main road in the village which has some shops & lots of people who were really happy & welcoming to see me. مرحبا جميعاً، اخر جزء انشره من شوارع ولاية الخرطوم في السودان، كانت وجهتنا إلى جزيرة توتي الواقعة على ملتقى نهر النيل الأزرق مع نهر النيل الأبيض بالإضافة إلى أنها تعتبر أكبر جزيرة موجودة على نهر النيل، هناك تقع قرية بسيطة تحتوي على الكثير من البيوت التقليدية والممرات الضيقة، الشارع الرئيسي هناك يحتوي على بعض المحلات والكثير من الناس كانوا سعداء برؤيتي وكانوا مرحبين وأكثر. إذا لم تشاهد الأجزاء السابقة من شوارع السودان إضغط هنا.

13 Hours on the streets of Qatif

In Saturday 25th of May 2019 a world wide event for street photographers under is the name (24 Hour Project) is held for the 8th year, 24 hour project is an event for documenting daily life and sharing 1 photo each hour in the day for 24 hour. Each photographer begins shooting at their city local time at 12 am, anyone can join the event either with a professional camera or just a mobile camera. This year date was set exactly in Ramadan with an islamic death anniversary (The death of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib) so I went to Qatif, Saudi Arabia to document those islamic lectures held be shia clerks and managed to document 13 hour & share 1 photo for each hour in the same day. Usually I spend all the time on the streets walking, but this time I was moving from one area to another by the car, so it wasn’t 13 hour straight. Anyhow I ended with a really good collection and I hope you like it!

في يوم السبت ٢٥ مايو ٢٠١٩ كان هناك حدث عالمي لمصوري حياة الشارع تحت اسم (مشروع ٢٤ساعة) يقام للسنة الثامنة، مشروع ٢٤ ساعة حدث يهتم بتوثيق الحياة اليومية والانسانية بشكل عام ومشاركة صورة ١ لكل ساعة تم تصويرها لمدة ٢٤ ساعة في يوم واحد. كل مصور يبدأ التصوير في مدينته حسب التوقيت المحلي بعد منتصف الليل مباشرة، الكل يستطيع الانضمام لهذا المشروع سواء بكاميرا احترافية أو كاميرا جوال. هذه السنة صادف التاريخ وجوده في شهر رمضان وأيضاً في مناسبة دينية لدى الشيعة وهي وفاة الإمام علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام، لذا قمت بالذهاب إلى القطيف في المنطقة الشرقية لتوثيق المحاضرات والمجالس الحسينية التي يقيمها كبار الشيوخ من الشيعة وتمكنت من توثيق ١٣ ساعة ونشر لكل ساعة صورة في نفس اليوم، بالعادة أقضي كامل وقتي في الشارع أتجول مشياً ولكن هذه المرة كنت انتقل من مكان إلى اخر بواسطة السيارة، لذا لم تكن ١٣ ساعة متواصلة. على كل حال خرجت بمجموعة جميلة جداً وأتمنى أن تروق لكم!

Bicycle boy – People’s Life photography

It was part of a photowalk in Safwa town which is located north of Qatif, Saudi Arabia, I stumbled on a kid was repairing his bicycle, the problem was with the front wheel, it went loose so he had to tighten the bolt holding the wheel before he get back to his daily ride around his home. The thing is that seeing him made me remember my childhood when I was always working & repairing my own bicycle when it broke down to the point that I still remember the small important parts in the bicycle!

كانت ضمن جولة تصوير في بلدة صفوى الواقعة شمال القطيف في السعودية، واجهت أحد الصبية يقوم بإصلاح دراجته، المشكلة كانت تكمن في في العجلة الأمامية حيث أنها تحتاج إلى شد أكثر لهيكل الدراجة لكي يستطيع العودة إلى جولته اليومية المعتادة حول منزله. رؤيته جعلتني أتذكر أيام طفولتي حيث كنت دائم العمل على دراجتي في إصلاحها حين تتعطل إلى الدرجة أنني لازلت أتذكر أسماء القطع الصغيرة المهمة في الدراجة!
