Hello again and welcome to another post from my project, continuing with Part 3 from my last trip to the south to Jazan Region, If you haven’t seen Part 1 or Part 2 please do. In the early morning I went to a nearby city called Sabia and just on it’s borders it has it’s weekly market which is Tuesday market, lots of stuff are been sold there most of it was fruit & vegetables, goats & cows, different kind of seeds & plants, woman’s cloths and other stuff. More to say that there were a number of old woman who work there as well, I spent about 2 hours in that market, here are some of the photos I’ve captured there!

مرحبا مرة اخرى مع تدوينة جديدة من مشروع حياة الشارع، اكمل معكم الجزء الثالث من رحلتي الاخيرة لمنطقة جازان، إذا لم تشاهدوا الجزء الأول أو الجزء الثاني تفضلوا بمشاهدته أولاً. في الصباح الباكر توجهت إلى مدينة قريبة تسمى صبيا وعلى حدودها يقام سوق الثلاثاء الشعبي الأسبوعي، وهو سوق شعبي مختص بأشكال مختلفة من باعة مختلفين، معظمهم باعة الخضروات والفواكه، الأغنام والأبقار، حبوب وبهارات ونباتات، وثياب نسائية …إلخ، وأيضاً لاحظت تواجد النساء الكبيرات في العمر يعملن في السوق وبنسبة ليست بسيطة، أمضيت قرابة الساعتين في هذا السوق. هنا بعض الصور التي إلتقطتها!

عندما وصلت للسوق كان لا يزال بعض الفراغ هنا وهناك لأن الوقت كان مبكراً والباعة لا يزالون يتوافدون على السوق مع عرباتهم

أصحاب يجلسون على مرتبة مع صاحبهم صاحب المسؤول عن بيعها بانتظار الزبائن

بائعوا الحشائش المعطرة

Man in the market in traditional cloth which is well known in the Region

رجل في السوق باللباس التقليدي المتعارف عليه بالمنطقة

Young sellers of vegetables & fruits

باعة الخضروات والفواكه من الشباب

I don’t really knows what he sales but it’s some kind of seeds

لا أعرف بالضبط ماذا يبيع ولكنه نوع من الأنواع الحبوب

Shoes sellers was busy at his mobile phone

بائع الاحذية كان مشغولاً في هاتفه النقال

---

The carrier which walks all over the market to offer his services for a small amount of money to any customers who needs help to carry his purchases, in here I saw children, men and old men working as a carrier

الحمالي والذي يجوب السوق بأكمله ليبحث عن رزقه في حمل مشتريات الزبائن مقابل مبلغ بسيط، رأيت هناك الأطفال، الشباب وكبار السن

A woman is carrying a bile of dried grass

امرأة تحمل كومة من الحشائش المجففة

An old man and his simple tools that he sales

رجل مسن بعكازه مع مساحته الصغيرة التي يبيع فيها بعض الأدوات

And on the other side there is a large space for selling goats and camels

وفي الجانب الاخر هناك مساحة كبيرة لبيع الأغنام والجمال

Costumer is deciding on buying it or not

الزبون يحاول أن يقرر بالقيام الشراء أو لا

When a costumer request something specific the seller gets it from the herd

عندما يريد الزبون شيء محدد يقوم البائع باحضاره له من بين القطيع

Some sellers come here with the herd of goats to sell while others come here with one or just two goats

بعض الباعة يأتون هنا مع قطيع من الأغنام لبيعها بينما هناك اخرون يأتون مع واحد او اثنين من الاغنام فقط

Small cafeteria in the middle of the goats market, I actually had my breakfast here

كافيتيريا صغيرة في منتصف سوق الاغنام، لقد تناولت افطاري هنا

While I was about to leave, I saw this man holding a small snake with no idea why, it seems like he was enjoying having it with him

عندما كنت أهم بالذهاب، رأيت هذا الرجل حاملاُ لأفعى صغيرة بيده وبدون أي فكرة عن السبب، أعتقد أنه كان يستمتع بحملها معه في السوق
