So last month I took the family to Kuwait for a 2 day visit and I was photographing when I ever I had the chance, and I ended up with a 3 photos that relatively the same and called this series “Kuwait Couples”
الشهر الماضي قمت بالسفر مع العائلة لمدة يومين إلى الكويت وكنت أقوم بالتصوير أينما كانت هناك فرصة، ومصادفة وجدت نفسي مع ثلاث صور لنفس الموضوع بعنوان – أزواج الكويت

Continue reading “Kuwait Couples – Unplanned series”It was a quick one hour walk in Al Mubarakeya Market in Kuwait with a fellow photographer who I had the pleasure to finally meet him, he’s Bader also known The Rhythm in Instagram and he photographed in this market many many times so it was good to walk with him, I didn’t interact a lot with people so most photos are just candid, enjoy!
كانت جولة تصوير سريعة لمدة ساعة تقريباً في سوق المباركية في دولة الكويت مع أحد الزملاء الفوتوغرافيين والذي تشرفت بلقاءه أخيراً، هو بدر والمعروف في انستغرام بإسم The Rhythm وهو متميز بأنه قام بتصوير هذا السوق مرات عديدة جعلته يعرف الكثير من خباياه وزواياه لذا استمتعت برفقته، لم أقم هذه المرة بالتواصل كثيراً مع الناس هناك لذا معظم الصور الموجودة هي عفوية، استمتعوا!

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve uploaded anything! this is the first blog post containing my film/analog photography which I started it a few month ago. I wanted to feel the experiment by myself and it’s not an easy thing to do! It will follow more later on, so stay tune.
Sadly I’ve made a big mistake by leaving the negatives in a bad place which they were exposed to lots dust! most of them aren’t good for printing again, but I managed to to clear most of it using Adobe Lightroom, this is one of the lessons I learned about film photography!

مرحبا بكم جميعاً، لقد مر فترة من الزمن لم أقم بنشر أي شيء من أعمالي! على كل حال هذه التدوينة الأولى التي أقوم بنشر بعض الصور من الصور الفلمية والتي بدأت به قبل بضعة أشهر رغبة في التجربة والتذوق لهذا النوع من التصوير، وأستطيع القول بأن الأمر ليس سهلاً ويحتاج إلى صبر وانضباط! سيكون هناك المزيد لاحقاً ترقبوها.
بشكل مؤسف قمت بعمل خطأ فادح كلفني الكثير حيث تركت الصور الأصل في مكان غير جيد مكشوفة للغبار والأوساخ وأصبح معظمها غير قابل للطباعة، ولكني استطعت انقاذ بعضها عن طريق برنامج أدوب لايتروم، هذه واحدة من الدروس التي تعلمتها من التصوير الفلمي!

I’ve just arrived from Kuwait after a 3 days in Documentary photography course, and in the 3rd day there was a field exercise where I was requested to present a quick photo essay using the information & techniques I’ve got from the course! so we went to Al-Mubarakiya souq which was a traditional and famous market in Kuwait. I’ve chosen a traditional cafe which was in the market as my goal to document and here is what I’ve captured.
وصلت مؤخراً من الكويت بعد رحلة دامت ٣ أيام لحضور دورة للتصوير الوثائقي، في اليوم الثالث كان هناك تمرين عملي في الميدان وكان المطلوب مني هو تقديم مقال فوتوغرافي مبسط من تلك الجولة السريعة مستخدماً المعلومات والتقنيات التي حصلت عليها من الدورة. إتجهت إلى سوق المباركية وهو عبارة عن سوق شعبي وقديم في مدينة الكويت وهناك وقع اختياري على مقهى شعبي وقررت أن يكون هو موضوعي الوثائقي الذي أريد تقديمه.
