Hello all, sorry to have been a bit away from publishing post for blog, been busy in real life, new home and new family member but getting back slowly. Anyway back with more from Dammam Central project, this photowalk was the first walk in months because I was really busy as I said, so because of that I spend around 3 full hours walking in early morning, so I got some really nice shot & more importantly I felt refresh again.

مرحبا بالجميع وأعتذر عن ابتعادي قليلاً عن نشر التدوينات للمدونة، كنت مشغولاً في حياتي الشخصية، منزل جديد وفرد جديد بالعائلة ولكنني على خطى العودة ببطء. على كل حال عدت مع المزيد من مشروع وسط الدمام، هذه الجولة كانت هي الأولى بعد توقف عدة شهور بسبب انشغالي الشديد مثلما ذكرت بالبداية وبسبب ذلك قضيت ٣ ساعات كاملة أتجول في الصباح الباكر للتصوير، لذا حصلت على بعض الالتقاطات الجيدة والأهم من ذلك أحسست بالانتعاش مجدداً.

Hello all, this is from the Dammam Central project which I plan soon to go a bit deep with it & maybe with a different approach, the photowalk was also in the same day of the 91st Saudi National Day, no it’s not coincidence, I just wanted to go in that day.

مرحبا بالجميع، هذه التدوينة من مشروع وسط الدمام والذي أخطط قريباً أن أركز به أكثر وربما مع أسلوب اخر، الجولة كانت في اليوم الوطني السعودي ٩١ ولم يكن الأمر مصادفة، قررت الخروج والتصوير هناك في ذلك اليوم.

Street photography at Night 5 – Dammam

Back with some more night photography, I went to an old area downtown at night and tried to capture the people there using the ambient light, also tried to do more editing on the overall colors inspired from some photographers that I’ve been follow lately so I hope you like it.

عدت مع المزيد من الصور الليلية، ذهبت إلى منطقة قديمة في وسط المدينة وحاولت إلتقاط المشاهد مع الناس ومع الاضاءة المحيطية بالمكان، أيضاً حاولت تجربة معالجة لونية جديدة والذي ألهمني بها بعض المصورين الذين أقوم بمتابعتهم مؤخراً لذا أتمنى أن تعجبكم.

Street photography at Night 3 – Dammam Central

Another street photography walk at night, it’s kinda hard to get really good shots after all I walked over an hour & a half and just got a few good ones, but I’m happy with them, plus I also gone to some new manual cold tones in Lightroom Classic.

جولة تصوير لحياة الشارع في الليل، التصوير في هذا الوقت صعب إلى حدٍ ما لكي أتمكن من إلتقاط صور جيدة حتى بعد مشي أكثر من ساعة ونصف وتمكنت من إلتقاط بعض الصور ولكنني راضي عن النتائج، أيضاً توجهت في المعالجة بإستخدام تون بارد في برنامج لايتروم كلاسيك.

Street photography at Night – Dammam Central

So I decided to go out at night for street photography for the first time in a while, I wanted to make my final results in color using the lights around in the streets & buildings, I went for the Dammam Central Market walked around for an hour, not quite happy with the results as I tried to play a little with the editing in Lightroom in order to reach different lights & colors.

قررت الخروج للتصوير حياة الشارع ليلاً للمرة الأولى منذ فترة طويلة، كنت أهدف إلى اخراج صور ملونة مستخدماً اضاءات الشوارع والمباني والمحلات، ذهبت إلى سوق الدمام وسط المدينة واخذت جولة هناك لقرابة ساعة تقريباً، لست سعيداً جداً بالنتائج حيث حاولت أن أتلاعب قليلاً بإعدادات المعالجة في برنامج اللايتروم لكي أصل إلى اضاءات وألوان مختلفة قليلاً.

Dammam Central Lockdown – Photojournalism

On Monday 16th of March 2020 the Eastern Province Municipality in Saudi Arabia decided to close all malls, open major market on the main streets & central of the cities with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies & restaurants due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the country to prevent more spread, on Thursday 19th of March I visited Dammam Central Market at 04:00 pm which is usually consider a very active time on this day because it’s the beginning of the weekend, but the streets were almost empty, people just passing by the different closed shops and some sellers are just sitting by their closed shop drinking tea & chatting with others in this free time which is killing them.

في يوم الإثنين ١٦ مارس ٢٠٢٠ قامت أمانة المنطقة الشرقية في السعودية بقرار إغلاق المجمعات التجارية والأسواق الشعبية المفتوحة وعلى بعض الشوارع الرئيسية وسوق وسط المدينة لجميع مدن المنطقة مع إستثناء محلات المواد الغذائية والصيدليات والمطاعم وذلك بسبب وباء فايروس الكورونا المنتشر عالمياً وفي البلاد، في يوم الخميس ١٩ مارس ٢٠٢٠ الساعة ٤ مساءً قمت بزيارة سوق وسط المدينة والذي يعتبر من أوقات الذروة في هذا اليوم كونه بداية عطلة الأسبوع ولكن الشوارع كانت شبه خالية، الناس عابرون للمحلات المختلفة المغلقة وكان هناك بعض الباعة الجالسون بجانب محلاتهم المغلقة يشربون الشاي ويتحادثون مع بعضهم في ظل الفراغ القاتل.

جولة كانت في سوق وسط الدمام وهو من الأماكن التي اعتدت التصوير بها، كان هذا اليوم بعد يوم ممطر والذي قمت بإلتقاط العديد من الانعكاسات والتي قمت بنشرها مسبقاً ( اضغط هنا لرؤيتها ). هذا السوق دوماً يؤكد لي بأن تصوير حياة الشارع يعطيك لحظات مختلفة لنفس المكان دائماً، استمتعوا بالصور
