I’ve been to Qatar once before and it was family trip, didn’t have the chance to go out in a photowalk, last November I had the chance to go for a calisthenics competition and of course in the morning was my free time, so I went to the one place I never saw with my own eyes (or even photos because no one takes causal/daily life photos there at all) which was Souq Waqif, it was completely new place for me, I had to walk the place all over just to get adjusted on how and what to capture, it was difficult and the time was tight plus the market was getting crowded, it’s basically 70% restaurants & cafes so it wasn’t that interesting to me plus the heritage buildings is so random in design like every 1 min walk you see a completely different design, there is clear identity of the place, in general I didn’t like the market, it’s just a tourist area most likely enjoyable for foreigns & locals in my opinion. But I did get some shots, not the best but something is better then nothing.

ذهبت إلى دولة قطر مرة واحدة وكانت رحلة عائلية، لذلك لم تكن لدي الفرصة للخروج في جولة تصوير، في شهر نوفمبر الماضي أتيحت لي الفرصة للذهاب لحضور بطولة للكاليسثنكس وبالطبع كانت وقت الصباح هي الفرصة للخروج للتصوير، ذهبت إلى المكان الوحيد الذي لم أراه من قبل شخصياً (ولا حتى عن طريق الصور بسبب أنه لا يوجد أحد يقوم بالتصوير بشكل عابر أو تصوير الحياة اليومية هناك على الاطلاق) وهو سوق واقف، المكان كان جديداً بالكامل بالنسبة لي، اضطررت التجول المكان بالكامل حتى أتأقلم وأستطيع أن أقرر بما يستحق التصوير، كان الأمر صعب بسبب ضيق الوقت وبسبب أن السوق كان يزداد ازدحاماً، المكان عبارة عن مطاعم وكافيهات بشكل كبير لذلك ليس من الأماكن المفضلة لدي وبالإضافة إلى ذلك المباني الأثرية القديمة عشوائية جداً في تصاميمها لدرجة أنك في كل دقيقة ترى تصميم مختلف تماماً في المبنى، لا يوجد هوية واضحة للمكان، بشكل عام لم ينل إعجابي المكان، أعتقد أنه السياح من الأجانب والسكان المحليين يفضلون المكان. ولكن استطعت الحصول على بعض الصور، ليست رائعة ولكنها أفضل من لاشيء.
